About the author










FRANK L. SCHICK, now deceased, was a consultant and author with a distinguished government and academic career in the library and information science field. He worked with Renee Schick on both editions of the Statistical Handbook on Aging Americans, the first volume in Oryx's series of demographic tools for researchers. The Schicks also coauthored Statistical Handbook on U.S. Hispanics, and Records of the Presidency: Presidential Papers and Libraries from Washington to Reagan, both published by Oryx Press.

RENEE SCHICK is an information services consultant specializing in bibliographic database management in the areas of sociology and health care. She worked with Frank Schick on both editions of the Statistical Handbook on Aging Americans, the first volume in Oryx's series of demographic tools for researchers. The Schicks also coauthored Statistical Handbook on U.S. Hispanics, and Records of the Presidency: Presidential Papers and Libraries from Washington to Reagan, both published by Oryx Press.
