About the author










CECIL R. DIPCHAND is Professor of Finance in the School of Business Administration at Dalhousie University. He is the Project Director of the Dalhousie/Xiamen University Linkage Program, and is widely published in the periodical literature and in books.

ZHANG YICHUN is Professor of Money and Banking, and Dean of Economics College of Xiamen University, P.R.C. Professor Zhang has published 14 books, including Socialistic Money and Banking, and over 60 articles in China of which 4 books and 5 papers were awarded prizes for excellence.

MA MINGJIA is the Vice Head of the Department of Financial Administration of the Bank of China, P.R.C. He has published more than 140 articles on finance, has participated in the compilation of The Encyclopedia of the Banking of China, and is chief editor of Stock Knowledge Series and 12 books on finance which have a considerable influence on financial circles of China.
