London-born illustrator, Richard Merritt's children's books have enjoyed success in both the UK and co-edition markets abroad. His body of work spans a broad section of the illustration world, from editorial, packaging design, games and education, to children's publishing, cover design, fashion and costume drawing for Hollywood blockbuster films such as Lincoln, Jack The Giant Slayer, The BFG and The Witches.Ruth Symons is the author of several children's books, including A Year in the Wild, Christmas Lights, the Paper World series and the Sophie la girafe board books. When she's not writing and editing, Ruth loves gardening, hiking and hosting elaborate teddy bear tea parties with her young daughter.
