Written by researchers at a federally funded outreach program to combat the spread of AIDS, this book analyzes the efforts of the Miami Community Outreach Project to intervene in AIDS-related risk behavior among intravenous drug users and their sexual partners. The work provides background information on the history of AIDS, the risk behaviors of drug abusers, and federal intervention programs.
