Bob Dylan and myth

It is time to move beyond the debate about whether or not Dylan is a poet and whether his songs should be considered literature. Dylan is an artist of the spoken and sung word who works with both the literary and musical traditions. This study, which includes contributions from leading Dylan scholars such as Timothy Hampton and Alessandro Carrera, explores a facet of Dylan's literary and musical imagination that Is little known to the general public : the omnipresence of mythologies in his songs.
