Iako Lena ne ¿ivi bezbri¿nim ¿ivotom kao njeni vr¿njaci na njenom licu se ne mo¿e spoznati tuga. Ona svakoga dana prodaje u¿e¿erene jabuke ispred gradskog klizali¿ta kako bi zaradjenim novcem pomogla svojim roditeljima. ¿ini se da gorka sirotinja u kojoj ¿ivi nije ostavila traga u njenoj ¿istoj i nesebi¿noj de¿ijoj du¿i. Bo¿i¿ je sve bli¿e i bli¿e a Lena gotovo da nema ¿elje za sebe. To nije promaklo ubogom prosjaku koji je zamolio za malo novca. Nesebi¿na kao i uvek Lena mu daje svoje poslednje crvene, u¿e¿erene jabuke i svoj ¿al kako mu ne bi bilo hladno. Od tog trenutka se ¿ini kao da je sam andjeo si¿ao sa neba i konäno bacio pogled na siroticu i njene najdräe. U rano jutro slede¿eg dana njen otac Andrija koji radi kao nadni¿ar pronalazi ispred njihove stare ud¿erice jedan neobi¿an adventni kalendar. U tom trenu niko ni ne sluti da se iza vratanca kalendara krije neobi¿na ¿arolija. Ali Lena ne ¿eli haljine i poklone ve¿ njenu malenu du¿u pritiskaju duboko skriveni bol i tuga. Njena je ¿elja da majka ozdravi, da otac nadje pristojan posao i da konäno upozna baku i dedu koji su im jo¿ onomad davno u svadji zauvek okrenuli ledja. Ovaj bo¿i¿ ¿e biti konäno jedan od onih koji ¿e Leni zauvek promeniti ¿ivot a bo¿i¿na zvezda ¿e konäno njihov dom obasjati sre¿om.
