This second volume of my pilgrimages through Eastern Armenia recall those of my first Western Mediaeval ones, but can be read independently. There is no chronological constraint nor narrative threads that weave a plot. It is a pure experience with and of the Other, that I have endeavoured to communicate over and through a shared or communal linguistic, religious, architectural and discursive landscape of the Other. About the author










Paul Mirabile studied philology at the University of Vincennes-Saint-Denis, Paris VIII. Having obtained his doctorate in western mediaeval philology he taught and studied for thirty years in Turkey, India, China and Russia, reading, studying and publishing articles and books on the mediaeval epic tales of the aforesaid countries.
