A vibrant introduction to the science of light - the extraordinary energy that illuminates our world. Have you ever watched the sky at night? Even when it looks very dark outside, the night sky is never completely black. There is always LIGHT on our planet. From the author of bestselling Nano, comes a fascinating non-fiction picture book exploring the science of light. From the complexities of the night sky to the inner workings of rainbows, learn all about the mind-bending science of light. With words by Dr Jess Wade - a highly skilled physicist and trailblazing campaigner for diversity in STEM fields - and beautiful, dynamic pictures by artist Ana Sanfelippo, this is the perfect book for budding young scientists and engineers: a way of stepping beyond their school textbooks to fascinating "real-world" science.
