The monograph is devoted to a holistic historical and pedagogical analysis of the scientific and pedagogical heritage of the outstanding Ukrainian typhlopedagogue, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ilya Semenovych Morgulis (1928 - 2011). The life path, professional and social activities of the pedagogue are revealed, the development of theoretical provisions of the correctional-educational process with visually impaired children, concerning the development of its principles, organization of cognitive activity, labor training and education, use of speech activity in work with blind and visually impaired children is shown in the works of the scientist.

About the author










Vadim Vadimovich Barco graduated in 2011 with a Master's degree from the National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Dragomanov. From 2011 to 2015 he worked in a school for blind and visually impaired children. In 2015, he defended his PhD thesis on typhlopedagogy. Since 2015, he has been working as a senior researcher at the Laboratory of Psychological Support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
