Social Skill of the Week Curriculum - 42 Weeks of Lesson Plans for K-6 Classrooms

This empowering curriculum is designed for K-6 general education classroom use. Forty-two life skills, along with eight extension (or complementary) skills, comprise the curriculum. Educators and counselors can teach or focus on one skill per week during an average school year. The individual lessons can be taught in any order and are divided into daily activities that can be taught in five to fifteen minutes. The activities involve everything from role-play and group discussion to journaling and reading. All skills are easily adaptable to reflect a student's specific abilities and cultural norms, and each lesson can be shortened or expanded based on time and student needs.
