MST education in the Brazilian educational context - Reality and possibilities

The book's object of study is the MST's educational proposal. It aims to analyze and debate the education of the MST within the Brazilian educational context, indicating its character and importance, especially in the 1990s, as an affront and opposition to neoliberal educational policies and currently in the face of the global crisis of capital, demonstrating the need to build class-based educational proposals aimed at human emancipation and the socialist historical project.

About the author

She has a degree in Physical Education from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2001), a master's degree in Physical Education from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2004) and a PhD in Education from the Federal University of Bahia (2009). She is currently a professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Researcher in the TMT/UFSC group.
