Unlike in ancient times, people with disabilities have been able to reach the highest levels of education in the 21st century, going as far as postgraduate courses. Within this context, which aims to guarantee them the right to the same quality offered to other students, it becomes necessary for access to knowledge to be continually analyzed, evaluated and optimized. Based on this context, this book seeks to investigate and analyze the reality and perspective of teaching students with disabilities at a Federal Institute of Higher Education in the northern region of Brazil (IFAC), which is part of the country's Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education. With this focus, we sought to identify possible problems and propose alternatives to overcome them.
