The aim of the research is to apply Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) and Constant Separation Traversing (CST) techniques to provide relevant information on the groundwater potential of the study area. The objectives of the study are to:- identify subsurface geo-electric layers (geo-electrical) based on the resistivity values- determine thickness and depth of each geo-electric layer- identify lithological layer (geological)- delineate aquifer unit based on the resistivity values- determine the depth occurrence of the aquifer unit (in terms of shallow, intermediate and deep aquifer).- identify the aquifer with good productivity.- recommend suitable borehole points for drilling from the above.
