The aim of this work is to show the importance of parents' participation in monitoring their children at school and how this contributes to better learning performance. In this context, the general aim of the work is to analyse the strategies that the school uses to interact with parents with regard to the students' teaching and learning process. We looked at how the family is included in the school's activities; we investigated how the family participates in the school's projects and learnt about the strategies used by the school to attract the family. The results show that the number of parents who participate in their children's school life is very small, some refuse to attend even when they are asked and show no interest in collaborating with the actions promoted by the institution.
