All too often, food for an adventure is an afterthought. There are those who believe that outdoor recreation, and its hunger pangs at the end of the day, lessens the mouth's ability to savor flavor. It isn't true. Food is energy. Reduced energy is a potential safety risk, as well as a lessening the enjoyment factor of an exciting outdoor exploration. But what if a Sweet Potato Breakfast Bowl was followed by a protein bomb of Quiche Bites for lunch, and dinner the warming flavors of Moroccan Spice Soup. What if meals outside enhance the experience?
Spoon and Slurp is for those who want mealtimes that nourish their backcountry appetite. Using (mostly) dehydrated food sources, the intent is that anyone can prepare foods without trading flavor and taste. Meals good for a solo experience or shared with a group of friends.

Stacy began backpacking in 1998 with a thru-hike of the 2,100-mile Appalachian Trail.
