About the author
Stephanie Allain is a multi-award-winning film and television producer and the founder of Homegrown Pictures. She made history in 2020 when she became the first Black woman to produce the Academy Awards. A trailblazer for equity and inclusion in Hollywood, she is the first Black female president of the Producers Guild of America.
