About the author
Adnan Ahmed Sheikh is an Associate Professor in the College of Business at the University of Buraimi in the Sultanate of Oman. He completed his Ph.D. at University Utara Malaysia. Dr. Sheikh has over 13 years of experience working in industry and academia. He is affiliated with several reputable journals and has published several supply chain articles. He has attended more than 10 international conferences and conducted more than 20 seminars and trainings for corporate firms and educational institutes. His research interests are focused on sustainable supply chains, technology and digital transformation, green consumption, and circular economy.Nadir Munir Hassan is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Supply Chain. He completed his PhD at Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan, Pakistan. Since 2011, Dr. Nadir has been at Air University, Islamabad, Multan campus. He has over 13 years of experience working in industry and academia. He has attended several national and international conferences. He has also been invited to several conferences as a keynote speaker. His research interests are focused on sustainable development, blockchain technologies, logistics, sustainable supply chains, and green supply chains.
Hina Zafar is a management lecturer at the Newcastle Business School, University of Newcastle, Australia. Hina serves as the course coordinator for partnership courses established by the University of Newcastle in collaboration with esteemed institutions such as the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Binus University in Indonesia. Her research interests encompass green supply chain operations, digital transformations, green human resource management, and sustainable practices. Additionally, she delves into the intricacies of industrial ethics, ensuring that industries operate with integrity and fairness. She is also exploring the evolving capabilities of artificial intelligence within human resource management and talent development.Zhang Yu is an expert in retail and green supply chain, e-commerce, and reverse logistics. She has published nearly 100 articles (including ABS 3 and ABDC-ranked journals) on retail supply chain, reverse logistics, omnichannel, and sustainable supply chain management. She has research collaboration with various well-known researchers from European and Western countries. She has authored three books on sustainability in retail supply chain and business operations.
