Description

Ferrofluids, a synthetic intelligent liquid material, exhibit fascinating flow phenomena when subjected to magnetic fields. This book systematically examines the fundamentals, applications, mathematical derivations, and properties of non-equilibrium ferrohydrodynamics and explores the magnetization and viscosity properties of ferrofluids.

List of contents

1. Introduction 2. Basic equations of non-equilibrium ferrohydrodynamics 3. Introduction to quasi-equilibrium ferrohydrodynamics 4. Magnetic properties of ferrofluids 5. Viscosity and magnetoviscous effects of ferrofluids 6. Ferrofluid planar Couette-Poisseuille flows 7. Ferrofluid flow in pipes 8. Laminar circular flow of ferrofluid 9. Spin-up flow of ferrofluids
