Reframe negative thoughts and believe in yourself with the help of a little ant who can!
Andy the ant doesn't believe in 'I can't.' Strolling through the town of Antsville, he spreads hope and cheer, but when he sees some of the other ants struggling with problems too hard to bear - even for an ant, he decides to share his perspective in a creative way, teaching them a simple battle cry to recite whenever they need to reframe their way of thinking.
As Andy imparts his words of wisdom, positive things start to happen. And whether having a disagreement or facing one's fear, the ants of Antsville learn that all things are possible with God's help. Offering children a clever mantra for banishing negative thoughts and maintaining a positive outlook, author "Granny T" teaches children to trust in God and never give up on a problem or on themselves.
About the author
Teresa Adkins, better known as "Granny T" by her students and friends, taught elementary aged children for almost twenty years. She received her diploma from The Children's Institute of Literature. Her artwork has been featured in Tennessee magazine, on the Tennessee Crossroads TV show, in the Gatlinburg arts and crafts fair, and the Trail of Tears Cherokee Indian museum. She lives in Clarksville, Tennessee with her husband of 54 years, where she currently teaches at Mosaic church. She is the proud mother to three adult children and has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
