The general aim of this work was to verify the impact of Human Resources Management practices on the performance of SMEs in Limete. The results obtained in this work demonstrated with certainty that the HRM practices investigated (Recruitment, Remuneration, Evaluation and Training) have a positive impact on the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in Kinshasa in general, and in the commune of Limete in particular. It should also be noted that most of the HRM practices taught here are found in SMEs, although they are generally not formalized to any great extent.Human Resources Management seems to be a serious determinant of performance in the small and medium-sized companies we surveyed.Overall, our results are in line with those obtained by other researchers regarding the positive effects that HRM practices can have on SME performance. Secondly, they emphasize the role and importance of the complementarity of HRM practices in predicting SME performance.
