The impact of development projects on people's well-being - a retrospective study of the Ditunga Project in Ngandajika

The relentless impoverishment of populations, and the financial and economic crises are hitting them mercilessly. The poorest and most disadvantaged are paying a heavy price. This confirms the mediating role played by associations, mutuals and cooperatives in a society marked by major social, cultural, economic and technological change.Development projects aim to improve the health, economic, social and cultural living conditions of the rural population, with the active participation of the majority. From the outset, every development project aims to meet a specific need. It aims to modify human existence, at least to make it more pleasant, easier and therefore more human.
