About the author

Chris Curtis is an English teacher and Curriculum Leader in a secondary school in Derbyshire. He is the author of 'How to Teach English' and 'Developing Brilliant Reading'. During his free time, Chris regularly blogs and speaks at education events about aspects related to the teaching of English. He tweets @Xris32 and blogs at https://learningfrommymistakesenglish.blogspot.com.Fiona Folan has been an English teacher, but now she tutors A Level students in English Literature and English Language. She also is a governor for a secondary school in Derbyshire.
