About the author










Prof. Ramesh T Subramaniam is Material Scientist experienced in preparation, characterization, and applications of materials for electrolytes, electrodes, electrochemical devices, and coating. He has published more than 260 research articles. He is well recognized in his field, internationally such as "Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry", "Established Scientist Award" by Royal Society of Chemistry, Fellow Academy Science Malaysia and Institut Kimia Malaysia. In 2017, he was conferred the recipient of the "Fulbright Fellowship 2017" at Princeton University, USA, as Visiting Fellow and "International Senior Research Fellowship 2018" at Durham University, UK.

Dr. Ramesh Kasi is working as an Associate Professor in the Universiti Malaya. His research interests focus with emphasis on electrochemistry applications of polymer materials which are used in energy storage systems and corrosion protection. He is Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry and Institute of Materials Malaysia. He has published more than 180 papers and supervised more than 40 postgraduate students. Dr. Ramesh has secured many research grants from University, Government, International and Industry. he has also has 2 patents to his credit. He has won many awards in international exhibitions.
Dr. Shahid Bashir is Senior Lecturer in Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. His current research involves carbonaceous materials, MXenes, metal oxides/sulfides/phosphates, conducting polymers, and other polymer materials for numerous applications. He has published more than 70 publications with high impact factors.

Mr. Sachin Sharma Ashok Kumar obtained both his B.S. degree (Hons.) and M.S. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering minor in Materials Science from Wichita State University, USA, in years 2011 and 2012, respectively. He joined University of Malaya, Malaysia, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering in the Department of Physics. His previous research was focused on the synthesis of graphene/graphene oxide thin films incorporated with carbon fiber reinforced composites via three-dimensional composite concepts against the effects of lightning strikes for aircraft and various other engineering applications. His current research involves the synthesis of super-hydrophobic graphene-based polymer nanocomposite coatings for underwater applications.
