My dear friends, I present to you the result of a series of research studies into the military powers of the Chief Executive. To carry it out, I have mainly referred to the constitutional history of France and the United States of America. I also took a special look at the constitutional system of Great Britain, because of the reciprocal loyalty that has always existed between these nations. This work is far from perfect. But in doing so, I wanted to contribute to the advancement of a branch of public law little known to jurists in my own country: comparative constitutional law.Happy reading!
