A (Not So) Simple Quest

Melodia only knows a life within the bounds of the castle walls, working as a sorcery apprentice under the care of her overbearing aunt. When the imprisoned knight, Sir Devan, escapes with a vial of Ghost Wart, Melodia embarks on a quest to retrieve what was lost and leaves the castle for the first time in her life.

Along her journey, she encounters Sir Devan who invites himself to be her quest partner. To Melodia's surprise, they make an exceptional duo-he protects her from danger, and her spells aid their quests and heal his wounds.

Together, they face feral beasts and evil bandits along their perilous journey, and she comes to trust the handsome knight with her life. But what would her aunt say if she knew Melodia was partnering with a known enemy? Melodia must choose to maintain the life she's always known or to follow her heart.
