This paper aims to analyse and reflect on the concepts of ethics and citizenship, especially with regard to reflections on human conduct. In short, it reflects on the importance of education for ethical training and the realisation of citizenship in the various spaces that make up society. As well as highlighting the historical processes and the definition of citizenship, working on the complementarity between ethics and citizenship and defining the teaching-learning process and the methodology by which these subjects can be developed. In general, to reflect on teaching methodologies and practices that can empower students for life in society. Education represents the foundation of human evolution, but it is necessary that not only spectators are aware of its importance, but that all participants in teaching and learning are aware that education is the future of generations. Only by understanding the human being and society will knowledge be promoted.
