Today, the question of physical and psychological health of ministers of muses is being raised more and more often all over the world. In Germany, the Musician's Health Institute was opened, in England - the Alexander Institute. In 2011 in Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I.P. Kotlyarevsky started an experiment. Its goal is to create a textbook of methods for psychophysiological improvement of artists. The participants of the project test the methods well known in practical psychology, medicine, sports, archaic dances and martial arts, forming recommendations for their introduction into pedagogical and performing practice. In essence, the experiment is aimed at finding ways to unite the mental and physical in the work of the artist. After all, it is the adequate embodiment of the artistic image in word, gesture, color, and sound that is the key task of the artist. Five articles, placed in the monograph, represent different directions of creative search of the participants of the experiment.
