Ruth Gottfried, PhD, serves as head of the David Yellin Academic College Dance Movement Therapy Master's Degree Program and is an ambassador of applied compassion, certified through the flagship program at Stanford University's Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education. As an academic researcher, Dr. Gottfried's work focuses primarily on trauma, secondary traumatic stress, and compassion.
