About the author

Maria Cuddy‑Casey, PhD, has always had a passion for serving the community and chose a field in psychology to help others. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and professor at Immaculata University where she has taught for over 25 years. Her clinical work focuses on children through to young adults, and she specializes in underserved populations.
