Medicinal plants are considered an essential source of raw material for the discovery of new molecules necessary for the development of future remedies. Among these plants we find Urtica dioica (L.), Pelargonium graveolens, Taxus baccata (L.), Artemisia herba alba asso, Dysphania ambrosioids (L.) and Daucus carota (L.) ssp. carota which have various pharmacological activities such as antibacterial, antioxidant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and anticancer effects. In the present work, we were interested in valorizing these plants, harvested in the Meknes-Morocco region, by different analyzes such as: thermal and gravimetric analysis (ATD/ATG), gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC/MS) as well as the study of the inhibition of ecological corrosion of steel in 1M hydrochloric acid medium by aqueous and ethanolic extracts by gravimetric, electrochemical, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and scanning electron microscopy (MEB/EDX), and on the other hand the evaluation of their antioxidant activities by two methods DPPH and CAT.
