The attribution factor is one of the presuppositions of civil liability, the "objective" attribution factor in simple words is when the "fault" of the agent (subjective factor) is irrelevant for the purposes of attributing liability; in these cases, the liable party is only released by proving the cause of others. Although the subjective factor is the rule, nowadays the objective factor has gained much ground in Tort Law.
