The diesel engine plays a major role in the transportation purposes. One of the major threats to the society and environment is considered as air pollution, which causes ill effects to the human, as well as environment. The main contributor to the air pollution is exhaust gases releasing from automobiles like carbon dioxide, unburned hydrocarbons etc. Environment harmful gases are absorbed efficiently within the silencer and keep automobile environment friendly. Silencer was used to attenuate exhaust noise in various environments. In internal combustion engines, exhaust gas recirculation is a nitrogen oxide emissions reduction technique used in diesel engines. The main objective is to investigate about the development of nano coated silencer for reducing noise and emission from DI CI engine , because it plays a major role in the transportation purposes. The Novel development silencer plays a major role in reducing the harmful emissions as well as acoustic noise from the engine. The present work is focused on design and development of novel silencer with the help of SOLID WORK developing a customized silencer and with the help of ANSYS software for the pressure flow analysis.
