Today's generation between the ages of 60 and 85 feels vital and demands participation, co-determination and autonomy. For the author, this study finds its justification in specializing after retirement, taking advantage of further academic training in the context of teaching and pursuing one's interests in networking and documentation opportunities. The basis is an attitude towards old age that reflects reality. The common image is no longer correct. Adult education and civic education are interested in the social mission of age education.
