In the work presented in this book, a didactic sequence was used using resources that go beyond the traditional blackboard and chalk, such as experiments, in other words, teaching a different kind of lesson. The proposal was carried out with students in the third year of secondary school at the João XXIII State College, located in the municipality of Janiópolis - Paraná, Brazil. The results related to the process of teaching and learning physics, in particular electromagnetism, were analyzed using lessons based on an approach to the principles of how a telephone/cell phone works, in order to mediate the students' teaching and learning. The application of the sequence was based on interactionism, i.e. the methodological theory of Vygotsky's interactionist approach. This approach highlights the importance of social interaction with more experienced people who can mediate knowledge, contributing to the learning process. This work made it possible to analyze the teaching and learning process through the application of the didactic sequence, as well as the social relationships and experiences lived throughout it.
