Discover the Seven Virtues essential for nurturing a compassionate family environment in A Caring Family. In this timely exploration, Dr. Aaron Santmyire addresses the challenges faced by parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, and mentors in a rapidly changing society, where the once-central ideals of care and compassion in family life are now often sidelined. These guardians of the next generation are torn between the dream of a better future for their loved ones and the relentless demands of an ever-accelerating world, leaving them feeling overwhelmed, disillusioned, and inadequate. Santmyire, through his compelling storytelling and honest reflections, seeks to reignite the moral courage and hope necessary to start turning the tide. He delves into pressing questions such as where to begin, what to prioritize, the feasibility of making a difference, the personal commitments required, and the right timing for action. By contemplating these questions within the context of their own experiences, individuals in these influential roles will find themselves empowered to foster a world where everyone feels they belong, matter, and are seen and known. A Caring Family serves not only as an inspirational guide but also as a catalyst for change, encouraging a return to the nurturing values that once defined our communities.

About the author

Dr. Aaron Santmyire is a husband, father, nurse practitioner, host of The Clarity Podcast, and, most importantly, a follower of Jesus. Aaron has dedicated the last 20 years of his life to serving in Africa, specifically Burkina Faso, Madagascar, and Kenya. He loves to trout fish, eat homemade apple pie, talk to his orchids, and cheer on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
