The Rediscovery of Colatin's Historical Heritage - The preservation of built heritage in Colatina and its history

The purpose of this paper is to research the development of public policies for the preservation of cultural heritage in Colatina, Espirito Santo, specifically built heritage. It also aims to find out how the city's urban development has influenced the current state of architectural heritage in the city centre. The research presents itself as a vast field of possibilities, since there are few authors and researchers on the subject. Finally, it is considered that the academic relevance of this work lies in the prospect of being able to contribute as a source for other research on this subject.
