Work has become increasingly associated with productivity and industrial and technological functionality, producing more and more difference. The flow of man's intervention in nature was commonly referred to as work and has been analysed primarily in historical and cultural terms. The extent to which labour issues have an impact on people's health is increasingly debatable. The damaging effects of Burnout Syndrome have an impact on productivity at work, helping to make professionals ill and unable to carry out their tasks to the full. Given the analysis of emotional exhaustion, depersonalisation, low personal fulfilment and cognitive impairment, it seems pertinent to ask whether Neuropsychology can make significant contributions to Burnout Syndrome in terms of professional functionality? The interlocution of the fields of Neuroscience and Neuropsychology contribute to the psychological and cognitive management of Burnout Syndrome through psychotherapeutic strategies and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation of compromised and/or lowered higher mental functions.
