L'obiettivo principale è stato quello di cercare di far emergere alcune questioni che coinvolgono questa minoranza in alcuni Stati, come il modo in cui viene trattata, i modi per combattere il razzismo, l'esistenza di normative specifiche per loro e il modo in cui quelle che esistono vengono applicate, tra le altre richieste.
