Their mutual attraction leads to a tour romance. Back in London and struggling to maintain their affair, reality intervenes and a dramatic traffic accident triggers Melanie's repressed guilt. She spirals into a breakdown.
Lennie wants to help Mel heal, if only she'll allow it. Or will Melanie's anguish overwhelm them both?
Join this stirring backstage drama of two creative spirits grappling to overcome ghosts from the past.

About the author

Fran Annaford is the author of The Starnberg Series, eight books which follow the loves and lives of a group of women, many of whom work in the arts. Fran is involved in the entertainment world but enjoys an interest in politics. The fallow years of the Covid-19 pandemic gave her the time and opportunity to realize a childhood dream: to write.

The Westminster Series is set around the institution which bears its name. The first instalment, In Private, was published in March 2025.

The protagonists of Losing You are new, but previous much-loved characters weave in and out of the story.
