About the author

Sundaram Hariharan is Emeritus Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute, University of Pittburgh Medical Centre. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles on various topics centered around transplantation and has participated in numerous clinical trials. He is also Associate Editor for Clinical Transplantation and Transplantation. He has trained over 120 nephrologists and has been recognized as a leader in clinical transplantation in both the National and International Scene.
