About the author

Yaniv Voller is a Senior Lecturer in the Politics of the Middle East at the University of Kent. He is the author of The Kurdish Liberation Movement in Iraq: From Insurgency to Statehood (2014). His articles have appeared in leading journals on international politics and Middle East studies.
