In addition to the obstacles and difficulties facing the insurance sector in the CIMA zone. Article 13 appears to be one of the arguments that prompted the legislator to intervene. Regulation No. 0001/CIMA/PCMA/PCE/2011 of 11 April 2011 amending and supplementing the provisions of the Insurance Code relating to the underwriting and management of contracts clearly mentions this. Premium payment is an undeniable element in claims management. It stipulates that: the policy takes effect subject to full payment of the premium by the insured. This provision is a response to the many technical failures in the market, such as premium arrears, and reinforces the principle of "NO PREMIUM, NO WARRANTY".
