This book work makes reference in the first chapter, about the first electric company in Ecuador, how it originated and what they used to generate energy at that time. The second chapter has concepts of the types, connections, characteristics and structure of an electric energy meter, whether it is electromechanical, electronic or intelligent. Finally, it explains the work that was done for the sustentation of this book.

About the author

I studied electricity technology at the National University of Loja, then I entered the labor field of electrical construction, 3 years in the city of Loja and 2 years in the city of Zamora in the Southern Regional Electrical Company in Zamora. I am currently studying to be an Electrical Engineer at UPS. In Cuenca.
