About the author










Ella Buchan is an experienced journalist and editor specialising in food and travel. Her writing has been published in The Times, National Geographic Traveller Food, the Independent and others. She lives in in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Dr Alessandra Pino worked with a Michelin-starred chef for nearly ten years before entering the world of academia. She holds a PhD in Food, Cultural Memory and the Gothic. She lives in London.
Lee Henry is an illustrator and designer with a background in editorial and publishing. He provides specialist food and drink branding with his design agency Ounce of Style. He lives in in Newcastle upon Tyne.
