This book analyses the new public policy for the adequate resolution of disputes, with the aim of analysing the mechanisms contained in the 2015 Code of Civil Procedure and in Resolution 125/2010 of the National Council of Justice. Starting from the crisis of the Judiciary, conciliation and mediation were inserted into the jurisdiction as the basis for transformative principles that seek the peaceful resolution of conflicts, thus fulfilling the goal of the National Council of Justice, which is to resolve conflicts effectively and more quickly. The study looks at self-compositional procedures for resolving conflicts, their principles, techniques and characteristics, as well as analysing the profile and posture of judicial assistants, lawyers and the judiciary as a whole in the face of this new perspective, ending with an analysis of the work carried out in CEJUSCs and what the contributions of self-compositional methods are in encouraging solutions through dialogue, enabling them to be used effectively in the legal context.
