The reality of our society is that there is a need for all of us to incorporate physical activity, exercise and sports into our lives, at moderate and intense levels, as well as frequently, at least five to six times a week. And we should take conscious and committed care of our daily diet. The benefits of these two habits have enormous benefits for our current and long-term health, with a direct impact on quality of life.Reflecting on the consequences of sedentary lifestyles allows us to understand risks such as overweight and obesity, and their relationship with other chronic non-communicable diseases, so it was thought important that this will address the basics on food and sports nutrition to understand, formulate and monitor food plans for athletes in order to improve their performance.
