Much has been written about aviation, nearly all of it focussed on the glamorous work of pilots. Even cabin crew have checked in their stories. However, though a hundred of us stand behind every pilot, virtually nothing has been written about groundlings, without whom there would be no flying. Mayfly is one man's account of his two-and-a-half-decade adventure in aviation; the fun, the excitement, the tragedy, as witnessed (mostly) from the ground.
About the author
With over 25 years of experience working in a technical field of photography, I was a late adopter to mobile photography. Once I got started, my biggest challenge was figuring out how to take photos that really stood out. That's when I became obsessed with composition, storytelling, and editing to make my photos really pop. Through years of research, training design, and workshop delivery, I have developed a systematic process that helps amateur photographers intuitively create amazing photos. I'm super passionate about smartphone photography training, and love sharing my tips and tricks through my website, podcast, YouTube channel, and social media. I've become an in-demand speaker on the subject of photo composition and mobile photo editing, and now I'm excited to add author to my list of accomplishments!
