Dr. Nanasaheb Thorat, is a Marie Curie Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health, John Radcliffe Hospital, Medical Sciences Division, University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K. He is an active researcher cancer nanomedicine and is affiliated with many scientific societies such as the European COST actions, European Materials Research Society (EMRS), Royal Society (UK) and American Chemical Society (ACS) among others. He has delivered 25 invited talks with EMRS annual symposiums. Sandeep B. Somvanshi, is working as a visiting fellow at Department of Materials Engineering, Purdue University, USA. He has published more than 45 research papers in peer reviewed journals and 5 book chapters. His major research interests include magnetism and magnetic nanomaterials, magnetic fluid hyperthermia for cancer treatment, magnetic resonance imaging, drug delivery system, silica aerogels, nanocatalyst and photocatalyst etc. He is recipient of many prestigious awards such as, Young Scientist Award by DST, Govt. of India for participation in 5th BRICS Young Scientist Conclave, DST-Inspire Fellowship by Govt. of India, Overseas Doctoral Fellowship by Government of India and Several Merit Scholarships.
Prof. Niroj Sahu
Dr. Sahu is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Centre for Nanotechnology Research at the Vellore Institute of Technology, India. His areas of research are focussed on the development of functionalised nanomaterials, study of the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials and applications of nanomaterials in cancer therapy as well as energy storage. He is the author of 45 peer reviewed journal articles, 8 conference proceedings, 10 book chapters and 1 book.
