This book is aimed at students of philosophy and other areas of education who are interested in learning about John Dewey's thought. John Dewey is considered one of the best-known philosophers in America and Europe for his position on pragmatism, epistemology, instrumentalism and as a theorist of education. His thought transcends generations and is present in Brazil and in several countries. In his philosophical discourse, he brings a concept of experience based on the continuity of life and the continuous process of learning. His experience allows for the creation of a new metaphysics that aims to unite experience, nature and the human being, so that the action developed in this process is valued.
