Improvisation is based on the spontaneous construction of melodic phrases based on a harmonic sequence. But in order to achieve mastery of improvisation, it is necessary to have a large amount of theoretical knowledge, such as scales, musical scales, chords and their construction, harmonic sequences, and technical knowledge, that is, to be able to reproduce this theoretical knowledge on the instrument.
